Personalized Tags - There's a whole lot of room to create your own tag. If you need a tag saying "IMATEA," ask about our options. We don't judge

Renewals - Need to renew your registration but not sure what to do? We're happy to help.
Duplicates - If your registration is lost like King Solomon's Mines, we can help you get a duplicate. We're not sure that King Solomon's mines are actually a thing, so don't go looking for them.
Replacements - Let's say you washed your registration in your back pocket and it now looks like that antique paper you find at hobby stores. Good news, we can get a replacement. Bad news, you have little pieces of registration stuck to your clothes.
Corrections - Let's say you have a registration that spells your name BZRK, we're not sure what that means but we can fix the problem for you.

What is a registration?
A registration is evidence of having paid the registration tax and fees on a motor vehicle. It consists of a metal license plate, a validation decal, and a registration certificate.
Why must I register my motor vehicle?
In the state of Florida, a motor vehicle is required by law to be registered within ten days of the owner either becoming employed, placing children in public school, or establishing residency. Registering your motor vehicle goes hand in hand with the titling process.
How do I register a vehicle if I am in Florida?
If registering a vehicle in person, submit the original title, proof of Florida insurance to the license plate agency.
FAQ's on getting a hassle free title
What is a title?
A certificate of title is the proof of ownership to a motor vehicle in the state of Florida. Most vehicles are required to be titled. The exceptions are mopeds, motorized bicycles, and trailers weighing less than 2,000 pounds.
When must I apply for title?
When you purchase a new motor vehicle, bring a motor vehicle into the state, or at any time the ownership of the motor vehicle changes, you must apply for a registration and title in your name.
What must I have and do to apply for registration and title?
You must have proof of ownership and proof of required insurance coverage written or countersigned by a Florida agent. Then you must purchase or transfer your license plate. Be sure to record a lien if the vehicle is financed. Complete and sign the appropriate title application form. Pay sales tax, title fees, and registrations.
Where can I apply for Registration and Title?
Application for registration and title to a motor vehicle can be made at any of the tax collector or license plate agencies located in each of the counties throughout Florida.
Title not required on trailers through 1999 pounds, mopeds, or motorized bicycles.
Expedited service is available in some tax collector offices. North Miami Auto Tag offers this service. For counties offering the expedited service, a fee will be required in addition to the standard title fees.
The application for title, along with all required documents and fees, must be submitted to the applicable local agency office for processing. A certificate of title will be issued after receipt of the documentation and fees.
